Standards and Best Practices for TAP Applications: TEISS Overview and Support

TEISS (Telematics for an Inclusive Society Standardisation) is a support project aimed at developing and improving standards in various application sectors. By identifying key areas of standardization, TEISS assists in the creation and validation of new and existing standards. The project lists 40 initiatives requiring help, focusing on suitable standards needed for both urban and rural telematics applications, particularly for the disabled and elderly. TEISS, backed by organizations like CEN/ISSS and universities, provides guidance through workshops, special interest groups, and forums, ensuring that necessary standards meet users' needs across diverse domains.
