  1. Can you tip the scales? Are you counting on accumulating good deeds to earn God’s acceptance? Avoid the big mistake!

  2. All it takes is one weak link. You might be a good person. But … perfect? According to the Bible, “whoever breaks one commandment is guilty of breaking them all” (James 2:10).

  3. All it takes is one defect. One hole in a pan is enough to lose everything. The Bible warns that “no one is put right in God’s sight by doing what the Law requires” (Romans 3:20).

  4. All it takes is one slip. One rotten egg spoils an entire omelet. One bad decision can ruin even well-intentioned plans. The Bible says “everyone has sinned” (Romans 3:23).

  5. Guilty as charged! Sinners don’t deserve Heaven. Left to themselves, guilty sinners deserve death! “Sin pays its wage – death” (Romans 6:23).

  6. Hurry! Get the doctor! Let’s say you’re in an automobile accident and break a leg and a few ribs. What would you do? Many keep waiting for the day they think they’ll finally be “ready” to get right with God. But the Bible teaches that “now is the time of God’s favor, now is the day of salvation” (2 Corinthians 6:2).

  7. Son is sacrificed to save many A Track Inspector had to decide: sacrifice the lives of hundreds of passengers or his son, who was playing in the bridge gears which had to be lowered. “God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life” (John 3:16).

  8. Avoid the big mistake: don’t rely on your own good deeds but on Christ! Hanging in the balance “Salvation is to be found through him alone” (Acts 4:12). Pray right now, accepting everything Jesus has done to forgive you, and giving Him Your life.
