  2. welcome Welcome to Camp Zoneat Chesterbrook Academy Camp Zone® offers fun-filled summer programs for children ages 5-12.Each week, campers jump into action, participating in exciting sports programs, exploring nature, becoming involved in performing and creative arts, playing a part in group activities, and attending special events. Our campers have the opportunity to expand their horizons during the summer, embarking on new adventures, and having fun! Our exceptional program and dedicated staff create an environment that forges lifelong friendships among our campers. We create a summer experience that is unforgettable! It all starts with our outstanding camp counselors.A camp is only as good as its staff, and we are extremely proud of ours. Talent, creativity, love of children, leadership and devotion make our camp counselors the heart and soul of the program. We take our camp programs seriously and begin our summer with intensive staff training and orientation. Camp Zone® counselors and specialists are doing exactly what they enjoy most: spending a summer inspiring campers to explore, reach for new heights, and expand their horizons. Camp Zone® gives you choices. Camp Zone® includes five days of activities, from 6:30am – 6:00 pm. We offer part-time schedules as well.   3. Themes Theme Descriptions Week 1: Hop into Summer During our transitional week, we will be welcoming back our campers. We will have a moon bounce and will be enjoying water ice and will go bowling. Week 6: Animals Galore It is ani-mania! We will visit the Cape May Zoo and Insectarium. We will also get our faces painted like our favorite animal. Week 2: Stars and Stripes Happy fourth of July! This week we will celebrate everything American. We will visit Philadelphia and do many art projects for the fourth of July. Week 7: Discovering Dinosaurs This week is full of Big things. We will visit the Academy of Natural Sciences to learn about dinosaurs. We will make fossils and also cook up some dinosaur treats in our creative cooking class. Week 3: Deep Blue Sea We will be doing all kinds of things with water, such as water relay races, water balloon toss, and learning about ocean animals. We will also do art with shells and sand. Don’t forget we will be closed on Monday for the holiday! Week 8: Healthy Habits This week will be talking about healthy habits, healthy foods and how to take care of our teeth. We will be cooking up some healthy treats in our creative cooking class. Week 4: Oodles of Air We will learn all about wind and windmills, airplanes and more. We will also make kites and wind chimes. Week 9: Exploring Insects We make some bug snacks in our cooking class and have a visit from the bug lady. She shares all kinds of bugs with us and we get to touch them! Week 5: Sports and Games Galore We will show off our athleticism in outdoor activities and express our team pride on Favorite Team Day. Campers will get to visit Lincoln Financial Field and go to a Riversharks game. Week 10: Aloha Island Adventure In this last week we will visit the Aquarium and Franklin Institute. We will also learn to Hula Dance and have an end of the summer pot luck Luau!!
