Business Idea • New sport sensation in Europe: padel tennis • Our project idea was spawned because of our personal interest in padel Tennis • High fun factor • Padel tennis is a good alternative to tennis (“modern form”) • Spread of padel tennis in Germany just started • We decided to make a viability analysis of indoor padel courts located in Munich

Padel field and equipment • The field: • 200 m² Plexiglas box with metal fence • Playground: usually artificial grass or carpet and sand • It looks like a smaller tennis court without the double courts and with a lower hanging net • The racquets: • Made of foam as a core with a stable smooth plastic skin of different thickness • The ball: • The balls are the same size as tennis balls, but a slightly lower air pressure, so they are slightly slower

  12. Consideration of the tennis associations in Germany 2016 Germany has 18 national associations with 1.400.914 registered tennis players The biggest association is the Bavarian Tennis association (BTV) with 301.338 registered players
