  3. Seasons and Weather • 1. Прочитайте и переведите текст. • There are four seasons in a year: spring, summer, autumn and winter. • In spring the weather is warm. Days become longer, nights become shorter. • The ground is covered with green grass. Trees are covered with green leaves. Birds sing beautiful songs. • In summer the weather is warm and sometimes hot. Days are long, nights are short in summer. • Children swim in the river or in the pond. They don't go to school. They have summer holidays. • Children like summer very much. • In autumn the weather is cool and sometimes cold. Days become shorter, nights become longer. • But autumn is a beautiful season. Trees are yellow, red and brown. It often rains. Children go to school. • In winter the weather is cold. Days are short, nights are long. It often snows in winter. • The ground, trees and houses are covered with snow. Children like winter. They can ski and skate a lot.
