How successful was each? • Kennedy tried to help the economy with his new frontier. • New frontier helped create a noninflationary wage in the Steel Industry. • Kennedy cut taxes to help the economy. • Great society did help the elderly with medical issues but it was also seen to take away people’s motivation to look for work. • Lyndon B. Johnson also increased the federal deficit by a substantial amount with Great Society.
