PROJECT GO (the Global Officer Project) • Is a DoD-funded initiative • Funds a network of summer language programs through 14 universities • Provides scholarships to ROTC students to study critical languages domestically and abroad • Is open to any ROTC student in any service, matriculated at any U.S. university • Has awarded over 800 full or almost-full scholarships since 2007

  2. Project GO supports the study of: Arabic Azerbaijani Chinese Dari Hausa Kazakh Korean Pashto Swahili Tajik Tatar Urdu Uyghur Uzbek Wolof Persian Russian Turkish Turkmen

  3. How students apply • Student visits Project GO websitehttp://rotcprojectgo.org. • Student identifies one or more programs that fit his/her schedule. • Student applies directly to those programs.(instructions on Project GO site) Project GO Scholarships are merit-based and competitive!
