  1. LO: To understand that marketing involves anticipating, understanding and satisfying customer needs and making a profit. Marketing By Charlie Lovegrove And Shai Maguire

  2. The main idea of marketing is being able to anticipate what your competitors are going to make, and to be able understand your customers and to make a product that will satisfy your customers needs. Marketing

  3. In order to have a successful business you must have all for parts of the marketing mix. • Product • Price • Place • Product Marketing Mix

  4. To make a product successful it must be: • Needed or wanted, fore example bin bags, everyone is going to use and need bin bags and will buy them on a weekly basis • However without the other 3 p’s it wont be successful. Product

  5. If you have the right product you need to have the right price for it because if it is priced to high then you wont get sales but if it is priced to low you wont make enough profit to keep your business alive. Price

  6. To make a product that survives it needs to be sold in the right place because otherwise people will have to buy it in the heat of the moment decision and people wont plan to got out and buy it. • For example if you put trainers in a garden centre people wont buy them because hey go to a garden centre to buy things fir their garden not shoes. Place

  7. The way you promote your product can either make or break it. If it is promoted probably then it has a higher chance of success than if it wasn’t marketed probably. Promotion

  8. Create the best revision piece to help you remember the 4 p’s. It can be: • A takk • A poster • A power point • On anything else that you can think of, you must present your ideas and the best will win a prize. Competition
