Timelines for course delivery • Course timeline review • Goals • Alignment with program schedule • Example: Network Model Management – Deliver course before the start of NOMCR use in early 2008 • Address training resource constraints (Limit parallel development) • Limit parallel development to what is required • Use course developers at trainers • Make more efficient use of ERCOT SMEs and TPTF sub-group for course reviews • Address timing of related courses (pre-requisites) • Example: Deliver Basic Training Program before NOIE QSE Operations
Training Delivery - Update *ERCOT only sessions of Nodal 101 scheduled for April and May (expect more than 100 attendees)
Training Attendee Counts Question: • How many Market Participants should ERCOT expect to train? • Survey sent to Accountable Executives • Response rate is very low ( approx 20% ) • 18 QSEs (Out of approx. 100 total) • 18 LSEs ( out of approx. 120 total) • 9 TSPs (out of approx. 18) • 6 Resource Entities More accurate attendee counts • Required for readiness reporting • Assures ERCOT can plan adequately for training delivery • Frequency, Location, Facilities • We have work to do!! • ERCOT will send a follow up notice • ERCOT Account Managers will call Accountable Executives • What else can we do?
