  4. Mission Statement: Operational Units Provide added-value in the management of the TEN-T projects, in cooperation with all stakeholders, thereby contributing to the development & promotion of the European Transport Network EFRTC General Meeting - 28 November 2008

  8. 2008: Achievements • Financially and operationally autonomous from 15 April 2008 recruitment, internal procedures • Establishment and effective management of administrative and operational expenditure • Handover of and follow-up of 390 open files from DG TREN including 138 requests for payment and 98 amendment requests • Preparation for the expanded mandate • Improved response time EFRTC General Meeting - 28 November 2008

  11. 2009: Main objectives • Consolidate the effectiveness of the Agency (staff, procedures,..) • Further increase the efficiency and improve the management of the TEN-T Programme, in close cooperation with the Commission • Ensure the successful implementation of the projects selected EFRTC General Meeting - 28 November 2008

  12. 2009: Main objectives • Carry out the successful organisation and administration of the 2009 Calls for Proposals • Increase the emphasis on information and communication on projects, including the creation of an instructive external website • Develop the support to the Commission and Member States/beneficiaries in the field of technical and financial engineering, GIS, and statistics EFRTC General Meeting - 28 November 2008
