Brief Definition • Wheelchair Curling is a game with two teams of four on each. Each player takes turns curling the stone into the point circles. After each player has gone the team with the most points win! • Brochure
Terms • Delivery stick- a long narrow stick used to push the stone puck. • Curl-to sweep or push. • Athlete- a competitor performing in an event. • Wheelchair- a chair with wheels for the disabled. • Teams- a group of athletes.

Athletes • There is a Wheelchair Curler named Sonja Gaudet who is known for her many gold medals. She's a British Columbian playing in the Paralympics with other Wheelchair Curlers such as Jim Armstrong, Darryl Neighbor, Chris Sobkowicz, and Ina Forrest.

My Slide • I'm going to show you what I've learned about my sport Wheelchair Curling. I like this sport because it tells me that people who are in wheelchairs can have fun too. Because they need a chance to be in the Olympics. So I thank those who made the Paralympics possible.
Closing Statement • One fact I've learned from this sport is that Wheelchair Curling is a Paralympics sport and always will be.
