  2. 3-year plan with 2 components • Building knowledge and commitment re importance of gender and RH issues in crisis/transition • Improving technical and institutional capacities to incorporate ICPD into overall emergency preparedness, response and recovery

Component 1 – Building knowledge base & commitment • Intensified advocacy to sensitize partners • Mapping, collating and sharing of existing tools and resources • Developing additional tools and resources • Expanding partnerships for knowledge sharing and applied research to build evidence-based programmes

  4. Component 2 – Improving capacity to integrate ICPD into all preparedness, response & recovery • Building national capacity • Establishing technical expert networks and mechanisms for rapid deployment • Training of practitioners • Ensuring data/RH expertise as part of overall UN mechanisms
