  2. Brief History of Management Modern Tours is an outgoing / incoming tour operator founded by Mr. Gabi Moussa. It was established in the year 1992 after Mr. Moussa spent many years of his life in the airline and tourism industry within Jordan and abroad. Starting his experience in the airlines in the early 60s as area Manager for Alia Airlines (the precursor to Royal Jordanian) from 1966 till 1982 where he was based in many countries such as Egypt, Italy, France, Denmark, Canada. From there he was deputy general manager of Arab wings a private jet company and general manager for several other tourism operators in Jordan until he ventured out on his own and founded the company Modern Tours in 1992. During the recent years his son Mr Farid Moussa - a BSc Communications Engineer- was working with him to gain his experience and knowledge of all the travel and tourism niche sectors in Jordan. Mr Farid officially started with the company in the year 1997 and now is the General Manager of the company focusing on what he gained of experience.

Activities Ticketing Issuance of airline tickets to many countries of the world Outgoing tourism ( Packages ) Arranging Individual, Group , Charter business to many areas Incoming tourism ( Packages ) Arranging Tours inside Jordan Individuals and groups Meetings and conferences Handling some of the most delicate tourism businesses

Outgoing activities by years 1992 – 1997 : Arranged packages to main destinations such as Lebanon, Syria, Cairo, Sharm El Sheikh, Turkey and sent weekly 400 passengers during seasons. 1997 – 2003 : In addition to the above we added the tours of Europe – Greece, Cyprus, Italy, France and Spain , 3 corporate A310 charters to Luxor, Marrakesh, and Beirut during the businessmen conferences in the region. Moreover we had the trust of honeymooners to Far east and Europe

Outgoing activities by years 2003 – 2012 : Main Charterers using Airbus 310, 320 to Varna in Bulgaria where our office was recognized by the ministry of Foreign affairs of Bulgaria with a credit and thank you letter. 2005 - 2008 : Organized special groups to exotic countries such as Brazil, Mexico, Cuba, Miami and the Caribbean

Outgoing activities by years 2008 – 2012 : Leaders of cruise packages handling where we were given 3 awards by the Royal Caribbean for the best selling and wow performers in selling cruise packages in Jordan. 2009 – 2012 : arranging tours to Europe with multi countries for special arranged packages in Austria, Germany, Switzerland, Spain , italy , France 2011 - 2012 : Handled Special groups with the travel arrangements in Europe. It is also to be mentioned that it got the best selling agent with GTA in Jordan during years 2010 / 2011
