  1. The Davao Medical School Foundation (DMSF) marked its presence in July, 1976. Its College of Medicine was thus the first such college to be set up in Mindanao and is dedicated to providing medical education and training of the highest order, leading to the provision of effective medical care in both rural and urban communities. DMSF is the first and only medical college in the Davao city, Mindanao (3rd largest city in Philippines). It is ranked among the Top 6 Medical Colleges in Philippines. The College is recognized by Medical Council of India (MCI) & World Directory of Medical Schools (WDOMS) listed, which allow Indian students to practice their medical career in India upon MBBS degree completion from Philippines. DMSF is considered as one of the Top Medical Universities of Philippines for pursuing MBBS in Philippines. It has several tie-ups with reputed Universities or organizations around the world. The college is permitted by the Philippines Government to enroll foreign students as per EC provisions. Every year, more than 2000 Indian students apply for MBBS admission in the College. The Davao Medical School affiliated Hospitals- Davao Doctors Hospital, Brokenshire Hospital, San Pedro Hospital, and Southern Philippines Medical Centre. These hospitals have combined bed strength of more than 4000 beds for the clinical practice. Davao Medical School Foundation provides many facilities to its students like Simulated Mannequin Stations, Ultra-Modern Library of International Standards, Team learning centres (TLC) and much more for acquiring knowledge in every way they can. Not only has this, the College possessed excellent clinical teaching and training with hands on practice. There are some 125 Faculty members drawn from a wide range of medical specialties and the total student population of all four years of students is usually around 1,058.   2. Students are affiliated to the Davao Medical Center, the Davao Doctors Hospitals, San Pedro Hospital and Brokenshire Memorial Hospital for their clinical rotations in the third and fourth years of their courses. There are more than 125 Faculty members in DMSF Medical College. The total student population of all four years of students is usually around 10,058. More than 5000 Indian students have been graduated from Davao Medical School Foundation since its inception It is one among the MCI approved medical colleges in Philippines. It is approved by the World Health Organization (WHO), ECFMG and FAIMER accredited. Davao medical college Library Davao Medical School Foundation Library adopts better systems and methods for retrieval and access of information. To further cater the increasing need of its students and researchers, DMSF has established two libraries in the campus. The Main Library is located at the third floor of the main building and the Annex Library is at the third floor of the Nursing Building. Each of these libraries is operated with a Standard Library Automation System for a more convenient way of accessing and retrieving of data.

Davaomedical college Eligibility Criteria The following eligibility criteria for davao medical school foundation must be fulfilled by the Indian student before applying for studying MBBS at Davao Medical School Foundation. Application of student who does not met with these eligibility criteria will be rejected. Student must be a citizen of India. The applicant should pass NEET exams before applying for MBBS in Philippines. The student should pass in all subjects of HSC conducted by any board recognized by India in the same attempt. For Other Communities, Backward Class and Most Backward Class (OC/BC/BCM/MBC) oMinimum of 60% in Physics, Chemistry and Biology oPass in English For Schedule /Reserved Category (SC/ST/SCA) oMinimum of 50% in Physics, Chemistry and Biology oPass in English The applicant should be above 17 years of age as of December 31st Students who tookscience group in their 12th grade are eligible to apply for the course. The applicants will be informed about the status of his/her application. If the applicant is qualified, the school will send to the applicant the following for admission. Notice of Acceptance (NOA)* Personal History Statement forms for the applicant to fill-up (6 copies) Certificate of Eligibility for Admission (CEA) form for the applicant to fill- up (not required for lateral entrants) The Notice of Acceptance should not be construed as the actual enrollment. The list of the following original documents should be submitted to the office of the Dean at least 30 days prior to the start of the incoming academic year. Official transcript of records and diploma Notarized Affidavit of Support, including bank statements or notarized notice of grant for institutional scholars to cover applicant’s expenses for school dues, accommodation, subsistence, and other incidental expenses Photocopy of passport pages where the name, photo, birthday, birthplace appear Student’s Personal History Statement (6 copies) with 2 x 2 recently taken photograph Police Clearance issued by the National Police Authorities in the student’s country of origin or residence Birth certificate Letter of Recommendation from two former college professors Davao medical college Hostel and Accommodation Separate hostel facilities are available for boys and girls maintained by the of Davao Medical school Foundation for International students with the following facilities. DMSF provides separate housing facilities to Indian students enrolling in the University for MBBS. All the hostel rooms are equipped with every required facility like air-conditioner, almirahs, mattresses, furniture, Wi-Fi, etc.
