  1. Things To Know While Installing MongoDB GUI In Your System MongoDB is a good choice if you are looking for an open-source and free document-oriented, cross- platform database program. As a NoSQL platform, it uses documents that are similar to JSON, with schemas, so it is easier to work with data. Users may aggregate data in real-time, perform indexing, and start ad hoc queries to analyze and access their data, too, and to make it more flexible for everyone, consider implementing a MongoDB GUI that is web-based and supports commonly used platforms like Mac, Linux, and Windows. But before you do that, be sure to consider these things:  Make sure it will allow flexibility – Consider a MongoDB GUI that eliminates the need to install client software on all your computers. Remember, it should be a web-based platform that allows you to browse and query documents and databases from a web browser.  A browser-basedDB IDE – It should enable browsing and viewing full MongoDB collections and databases. Consider a platform that uses MongoDB’s pagination to show large collections. It must enable you to rename, drop, and add documents, and apply paginations and filter criteria.  A data editor – From the platform, you should be able to expand full view, browse document, and tweak existing values. Make sure the MongoDB GUI lets you edit or add a new value, insert a new document or key-value, and remove field with just a simple click.  Online MongoDB shell – An interactive, web-based command interface lets you update and query data and conduct administrative tasks. The GUI should allow you to open several shells at a time, so you can multitask many operations. From the shell, it should be possible to run several command statements.  An intuitive query builder – Look for a MongoDB GUI that lets you drag and drop the collection filed into the query editor and apply any filter criteria on collections to narrow down the results.

  2. GridFS – The online GridFS utility lets you store and retrieve large files (i.e. videos, audio, and images) to be renamed, filtered, searched, deleted, edit metadata information, and upload new files.  Other features – The MongoDB GUI should come with a JSON data viewer, a pagination viewer, online utilities, and a collection statistics viewer.
