Thin Layer Chromatograms of Polar Lipids in Glaciecola Species

Supplementary Fig. 2 showcases thin layer chromatograms of total polar lipids in Glaciecola aquimarina GGW-M5T and Glaciecola punicea LMG 21426T. The spots were visualized using 10% ethanolic molybdophosphoric acid spray. PC, PE, PME, PG, DPG, L1-L3, and APL are identified lipid components.

  1. Supplementary Fig. 2 Thin layer chromatograms of the total polar lipids of Glaciecola aquimarina GGW-M5T (A) and Glaciecolapunicea LMG 21426T (B). Spots were revealed by spraying the plates with 10 % ethanolic molybdophosphoric acid. Abbreviations: PC, phosphatidylcholine; PE, phosphatidylethanolamine; PME, phosphatidylmonomethylethanolamine; PG, phosphatidylglycerol; DPG, diphosphatidylglycerol; L1-L3, unidentified lipids; APL, unidentified aminophospholipid.
