  3. 1. You need working papers if: • You want a job • You are between the ages of 14 and 17

  4. 2.What types of jobs can a 14-15 year old do? • Farm Jobs (feeding, cleaning stalls, picking) • Babysitting (no working papers required) • Helper Stores-stocking shelves, packing groceries, bringing in carts, taking groceries to car • Golf Courses/Marinas • State Fair/Alliance Stadium • Food Service-washing dishes, busing tables, setting tables • Volunteers in school/community

  5. 3. Where do you get working papers? • NSJH Guidance Office: -applications are on the shelf by the windows to the right of the door. -return completed application to Mrs. Fortune

  6. 4. What three pieces of information do you need to get working papers? Your application and • Copy of birth certificate • Your Social Security Card • Certificate of physical fitness- physical exam.

  8. 5. Now what do I do? • Give them to your employer with your SS card. • He/She will make a copy to keep on file. • You keep original in a safe place at home.
