The Tele-Science & Ecogrid Working Group, led by Heon Y. Yeom from Seoul National University, is pioneering collaborative efforts in tele-science infrastructure. This group includes experts like Fang-Pang Lin, Shinji Shimojo, and Steven Peltier, focusing on various ongoing projects such as the ECOGRID and NEESgrid. With a bottom-up strategy, we aim to identify essential components for a shared infrastructure, including scheduling systems, data storage, and streaming capabilities. Our goal is to create a unified architecture for tele-science while applying for HPC Analytic Challenges to foster innovation.
