CONTINUUM OF SCHOOL-WIDE POSITIVE BEHAVIOR SUPPORT Tertiary Prevention: FBABSP for Students with High-Risk Behavior ~5% Secondary Prevention: Specialized Group Systems for Students with At-Risk Behavior ~15% Primary Prevention: School/Classroom- Wide Systems for All Students, Staff, & Settings ~80% of Students

  6. What the DATA Tells us… • The following 6 statements where identified on the Self-Assessment Survey taken in December as, NOT being in place and had a HIGH ranking for needing improvement…

Think about it… • Expected student behaviors are taught directly. • Consequences for problem behaviors are defined clearly. • Options exist to allow classroom instruction to continue when problem behavior occurs. • Data on problem behavior patterns are collected and summarized within an on-going system. • Patterns of student problem behavior are reported to teams and faculty for active decision-making on a regular basis (e.g. monthly). • Staff receives regular opportunities for developing and improving active supervision skills.
