What is PBIS? • Positive Behavior Intervention and Support • State Wide Program • Describes what positive behaviors are expected from ALL Faculty and Staff • Mission of MCHS PBIS • Develop a positive and proactive plan that will change the structure of discipline in our school that includes everyone in the building.
Important Information • Infraction Process: • 1st Minor-Reteach/Teacher Consequence (Optional) • 2nd Minor-Reteach/Teacher Consequence (Optional) • 3rd Minor-Lunch Detention • 4th Minor-Administrator (1st major, additional minors will be majors) • Infractions start over after semester • Remember to be Ready, Respectful and Responsible at ALL TIMES!
How Do I Get Raider Bucks? • Get Caught “Doing The Right Thing” By Being… • Ready—having materials, being on time, have lunch number ready • Respectful—clean up after yourself, be polite in hallway, following directions • Responsible—doing you homework, follow school policies, be an active participant • These are examples of reasons why you might receive a Raider Buck. You are not guaranteed Raider Bucks for doing these things.
