  6. How did Simcoe populate U.C.? • He traveled widely and listened attentively to the advice of experts. He interacted with everyday people, be they aboriginals, trappers, or farmers. His envisioned far-reaching constitutional, political, and social reform that would ultimately establish the basis of Upper Canada.
