Vocabulary • Business Card – a small card with a person’s name, business affiliation, and contact information • Entrepreneur– a person who has an idea and turns it into a business; a business owner who assumes the risk for a business venture. • Letterhead– a sheet of stationery printed with the business name and address at the top • Logo– a name, symbol, or trademark designed for easy recognition; an iconic representation of a business • Slogan– a catch phrase used to represent a business or product; a motto

  3. Successful Entrepreneurs • Bill Gates -American business magnate, computer programmer and philanthropist. Gates is the former chief executive and current chairman of Microsoft, the world’s largest personal-computer software company, which he co-founded with Paul Allen. • Steve Jobs - an American entrepreneur.[8] He is best known as the co-founder, chairman, and chief executive officer of Apple Inc. Jobs also co-founded and served as chief executive of Pixar Animation Studios; he became a member of the board of directors of The Walt Disney Company in 2006, when Disney acquired Pixar.
