Simultaneous talkers Tools – audio – maximal simultaneous talkers – 1 or 2 or 3? (up to 6) – Only moderator can set it
How to speak • You need to press the button ‘Talk’, and adjust the level of microphone • After speaking please press the button again, so other people can talk • If busy, please raise your hand and wait for your turn
How to use a video camera • Plug in your video camera (some are built in) and install it if needed • Press the ‘Video’ button on the left side • ‘Preview’ and ‘transmit’ • If busy, please raise your hand and wait for your turn
Number of video cameras Tools – video – Maximal simultaneous cameras – 1 or 2 or 3? (up to 6) – Only moderator can set it
Upload a presentation • PowerPoint presentation can be uploaded • It takes time to do so – do it before the lecture • Each slide is loaded as a picture – animation is lost • To keep animation • Use separate slides • Share application

Recording? • Press the button to start recording • Link to the recording will be emailed to the owner of the virtual office after everybody logged out
Share applications • Participant can only share application if permitted by the moderator • Very easy to use in Collaborate • Press the ‘Share Selected Application’ button on the top tools bar • You can stop sharing anytime you like
Web Tour • Participant can only use Web Tour if permitted by the moderator • Very easy to use in Collaborate • Press the ‘Web Tour’ button on the top tools bar • You can stop anytime you like
Breakout rooms • Moderator can create break out rooms • Tools – breakout room • Moderator can distribute participants • Or allow them to move to • breakout rooms
