Association Status Update • Approved as a 501(c) 3 non-profit corporation by Ohio Secretary of State on February 9, 2011 • Received EIN from Internal Revenue Service on February 19, 2011 • Requesting Tax Exempt status from IRS – Form 1023 – to be filed within 27 months of incorporation. • Checking Account to be set up at Fifth Third Bank on Saturday, February 26, 2011. • W9 now available for those that need this information.   5. Review/Adoption of Bylaws • By-Laws – official governing document of the Association • Must be in compliance with IRS code that governs not-for-profit organizations. • Must be adopted no less then 30 days from date of incorporation.

Announcements • Letters and Information about OAHE have been sent to acute and long term care facilities in Columbus, Cincinnati and Dayton areas to determine interest. • Phase 1 of the Website is under development. (Go-live date goal: April 1, 2011) • Request to “Register” OAHE logo has been submitted • Newsletter is under development. (Initial newsletter to be sent out in 2nd quarter, 2011) • OAHE Brochure is in final development process. (Due date for final review/approval is March 15) • New OAHE Telephone # is 216-910-2662

  12. Mark Your Calendar! • OAHE Annual Conference/Trade Show tentatively scheduled for Wednesday, August 10th, 2011 from 8AM – 5:30PM to be held at Hilton Inn – Beachwood.
