Use simulation files : • No preferences since it has to find the vertex so I choose : • /star/data54/reco/auau200/hijing_382/b0_20/minbias/y2007h/gheisha_on/p08if/rcf9062_*_100evts.MuDst.root • Each file has 100 events so I had to match for each files the event id to be sure to take the same event • No cut on gRefMult • The vertex position from GEANT is taken from the geant.root file (from the g2t_vertexTablePointer) • ~ 500 events

  6. comments • As for the real data, we see a clear correlation between the vertex position found by KFParticle • KFParticle and MuDst show the same resolution • for Z position, the rms is higher (~3.5 cm) because I’ve taken the RMS value from the histo and we see there is still points with large deviations
