What is AVID? • AVID (Advancement Via Individual Determination) is a college readiness program designed to help students reach their goal of attending college. This program accelerates student learning by effectively motivating students and giving them the tools and strategies to stay focused on their future college plan. • This year we will be working on practices such as study skills, test taking tips, new ways of taking notes, organization, and researching different colleges as well as careers for our future.
