Effects of Hypoxic Exposure on PAI-1 Expression and Secretion in FaDu Cells

This study investigates the influence of varying durations of hypoxic exposure on the expression and secretion levels of PAI-1 (Plasminogen Activator Inhibitor-1) in FaDu cells. Utilizing normoxic control conditions, the experiment highlights relative changes in PAI-1 expression as a function of exposure time to hypoxia, revealing a significant correlation with increased PAI-1 levels. Our findings contribute to the understanding of cellular responses to hypoxic stress and the potential implications for cancer biology.
