Impact of Flu and Obesity on Economy and Health

The high incidence of flu, spread through droplets and interpersonal contact, leads to significant economic losses, affecting production and medical costs. Concurrently, obesity indirectly increases spending and healthcare expenses due to absenteeism and medical treatments. These global issues require attention through exercise, immunity enhancement, and government support.

  2. Flu • Infectious strong, incidence of a disease is high • Spread droplets, interpersonal contact or with contaminated items contact • Autumn, winter high incidence

  3. Flu Flu is a kind of very expensive disease • Overall lose – 30-35 billilion dollar in USA • Direct loss – medical costs accounted for 20%-30% • Indirect losses – decrease on production

  4. In daily life • Pork, chicken price is not stable • The business is hard to seller • Buyer buy bad meat, more economic pressure

  5. In economy • 3 trillion dollars in damage • Global GDP shrinking nearly 5% • Mexico's GDPwill shrink 3.7%.

  6. Obesity • Indirectly caused the government, community and personal spending increase. • Fat person because of injury or disease cause absenteeism rate was 17% higher than average person. • A global problem.

  7. In daily life • Eating more than the otherpeople. • Thin body underwear, pills, health care products, thin body equipment. • Genetic problems.

  8. In economy • More than the average person pay $700 medical expenses for weight loss, the sum of us $93 billion. • Obesity cause of medical expense and the loss of salary, more than 120 billion dollars

  9. In conclusion • All is not allow to neglect and global question • Exercise thebody, enhance immunity. • The government provide benefits and help
