ORIENTATION • Improve client’s confidence and learning strategies! • Recommend other AARC services! • Encourage repeat visits! • Be especially concerned about freshmen! • Call the AARC: 936 468 4108! • Wear an AARC shirt! • Like AARC on Facebook! • Be ready to give out pink slips! • Get what you need at the Welcome Desk! • Ask other tutors for tips! • Ask directors and student managers for help! • Work and eat in the workroom! • Certify to the next tutor level! • Fear not: You don’t have to have all the answers! It was a job, something to put on my resume, and for that it was good. Now that I'm through it, I realize that I gained more from that experience than you could ever put on a resume.
