  2. How we can become Bitter: • We think someone has sinned against us when they haven’t • We have UNREASONABLE and /or UNSPOKEN expectations that aren’t met • Someone REBUKES us and we become bitter • We are JEALOUS • We are Sinned Against

Guarding against a Bitter Heart • Guard against GOSSIP (v25) • Guard against UNRIGHTEOUS anger (v26) • Guard against DELAY (v26) • Guard against the ENEMY (v27) • Guard against your HANDS (V28) • Guard against CONTEMPT (v29) • Guard against GRIEVING God (v30) In order to fully remove the ROOT of bitterness, we must use the “SHOVEL” of forgiveness
