Numbers 5:12-18

13 and a man lies with her carnally, and it is hidden from the eyes of her  husband, and it is concealed that she has defiled herself, and there was no witness against her, nor was she caught--

slide4

14 'if the spirit of jealousy comes upon him and he becomes jealous of his wife, who has defiled herself; or if the spirit of jealousy comes upon him and he becomes jealous of his wife, although she has not defiled herself--

slide10

18 'Then the Cohen shall stand the woman before YHVH, uncover the woman's head, and put the offering for remembering in her hands, which is the grain offering of jealousy. And the Cohen shall have in his hand the BITTER WATER THAT BRINGS A CURSE.

slide11

Numbers 5:19

19 And the Cohen shall put her under oath, and say to the woman, "If no man  has lain with you, and if you have not gone astray to uncleanness while under your husband's authority, be free from this bitter water that brings a curse.

slide12

20"But if you have gone astray while under your husband's authority, and if  you have defiled yourself and some man other than your husband has lain with you"--

21 'then the Cohen shall put the woman under the oath of the curse, and he shall say to the woman--" The LORD make you a curse and an oath among your people, when The LORD make your thigh rot and your belly swell;

Exodus 32

19 And it came to pass, as soon as he came nigh unto the camp, that he saw the calf, and the dancing: and Moses' anger waxed hot, and he cast the tables out of his hands, and brake them beneath the mount.

20 And he took the calf which they had made, and burnt it in the fire, and ground it to powder, and strawed it upon the water, and made the children of Israel drink of it.

slide15

Deuteronomy 9:21

And I took your sin, the calf which ye had made, and burnt it with fire, and stamped it, and ground it very small, even until it was as small as dust: and I cast the dust thereof into the brook that descended out of the mount.

23 Then the Cohen shall WRITE THESE CURSES IN A BOOK, and he shall scrape them off INTO THE   BITTER WATER.24 And he shall make the woman drink the bitter water that brings a curse,  and the water that brings the curse shall enter her to become bitter.25 Then the Cohen shall take the grain offering of jealousy from the woman's hand, shall wave the offering before YHVH, and bring it to the altar;

slide21

Numbers 5:26

The cohen is to take a handful of the grain offering as its reminder portion and make it go up in smoke on the altar; afterwards, he is to make the woman drink the water.

slide22

27 When he has made her drink the water, then, if she is unclean and has been unfaithful to her husband, the water that causes the curse will enter her and become bitter, so that her abdomen swells and her private parts shrivel up; and the woman will become an object of cursing among her people.

slide23

Exodus 32:26

Then Moses stood in the gate of the camp, and said, Who is on the LORD'S side? let him come unto me. And all the sons of Levi gathered themselves together unto him.

27 And he said unto them, Thus saith the LORD God of Israel, Put every man his sword by his side, and go in and out from gate to gate throughout the camp, and slay every man his brother, and every man his companion, and every man his neighbour.

slide24

28 And the children of Levi did according to the word of Moses: and there fell of the people that day aboutthree thousand men.

29 This is the law for jealousy: when either a wife under her husband's authority goes astray and becomes unclean,

12 That at that time ye were without Messiah, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world:

slide30

13 But now in Messiah Yahshua ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Messiah.

14 ¶ For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us;

Revelation 8

10 And the third angel sounded, and there fell a great star from heaven, burning as it were a lamp, and it fell upon the third part of the rivers, and upon the fountains of waters;

11 And the name of the star is called Wormwood: and the third part of the waters became wormwood; and many men died of the waters, because they were made bitter.

Revelation 17

4 And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet colour, and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication:

slide46

5 And upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH. {harlots: or, fornications}

6 And I saw the woman drunken with the blood of the saints, and with the blood of the martyrs of Yahshua: and when I saw her, I wondered with great admiration.

slide47

Just as the adulterous woman in Israel would have to drink of the filthiness of her fornication, symbolized by the curses being washed from the paper into the cup, so too will Babylon the Great have to drink up her sins of spiritual adultery.

slide48

Jeremiah 25:15-17

15 For thus says YHVH God of Israel to me: "Take this WINE CUP OF FURY from My hand, and cause all the nations, to whom I send you, to drink it.

16 "And they will drink and stagger and go mad because of the sword that I will send among them."

17 Then I took the CUP from YHVH 's hand, and made all the nations drink, to whom YHVH had sent me:

slide49

Job 21:20

His eyes shall see his destruction, and he shall drink of the wrath of the Almighty.

slide50

Psalms 75:8

For in the hand of the LORD there is a cup, and the wine is red; it is full of mixture; and he poureth out of the same: but the dregs thereof, all the wicked of the earth shall wring them out, and drink them.

slide51

Isaiah 51:17

¶ Awake, awake, stand up, O Jerusalem, which hast drunk at the hand of the LORD the cup of his fury; thou hast drunken the dregs of the cup of trembling, and wrung them out.

slide52

Isaiah 51:21

Therefore hear now this, thou afflicted, and drunken, but not with wine:

22 Thus saith thy Lord the LORD, and thy God that pleaded the cause of his people, Behold, I have taken out of thine hand the cup of trembling, even the dregs of the cup of my fury; thou shalt no more drink it again:

slide54

Matthew 20:22

But Yahshua answered and said, Ye know not what ye ask. Are ye able to drink of the cup that I shall drink of, and to be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with? They say unto him, We are able.

slide55

Matthew 26:42

He went away again the second time, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if this cup may not pass away from me, except I drink it, thy will be done.

slide56

Mark 14:36

And he said, Abba, Father, all things are possible unto thee; take away this cup from me: nevertheless not what I will, but what thou wilt.

slide57

John 18:11

Then said Yahshua unto Peter, Put up thy sword into the sheath: the cup which my Father hath given me, shall I not drink it?

slide58

Matthew 27:47

Some of them that stood there, when they heard that, said, This man calleth for Elias.

48 And straightway one of them ran, and took a spunge, and filled it with vinegar, and put it on a reed, and gave him to drink.

49 The rest said, Let be, let us see whether Elias will come to save him.

50 ¶ Yahshua, when he had cried again with a loud voice, yielded up the ghost.

slide59

John 19:29

Now there was set a vessel full of vinegar: and they filled a sponge with vinegar, and put it upon hyssop, and put it to his mouth.

30 When Yahshua therefore had received the vinegar, he said, It is finished: and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost.

slide60

Mark 15:36

And one ran and filled a sponge full of vinegar, and put it on a reed, and gave him to drink, saying, Let alone; let us see whether Elias will come to take him down.

37 And Yahshua cried with a loud voice, and gave up the ghost.
