  3. Circumspect (adj) • To look at all possibilities and choices before making a decision. • Why might you feel circumspect about driving with your friend to the Minit Mart?

  4. Introspection (n) • To look at your own thoughts and feelings; to examine yourself • Why is it important to have introspection about the actions you take?

  5. Perspective (n) • A way of looking at things • What is your perspective on steroids in sports?

  6. Respect • To look at someone with honor; to look up at someone • List three people you respect.

  7. Retrospective • Looking back at things from your life. • List three important things that have happened to you.

  8. Spectacle (n) • Something on display; a crazy thing that happens in front of something. • What is a spectacle that has happened recently in the news?

  9. Spectacles (n) • Glasses that help someone see better • List two teacher who wear spectacles.

  10. Spectator • A person who watches a game or concert or event. • What is a concert you were a spectator at?

  11. Speculate • To look at the future and predict what will happen • What do you speculate will happen with your high school career?
