  2. What is Justice? • The quality of being just; righteousness, equitableness, or moral rightness: to uphold the justice of a cause. • Rightfulness or lawfulness, as of a claim or title; justness of ground or reason: to complain with justice. • Fair and reasonable

  3. Was Justice Severed? • Does not apply to Hamlet & Play • Everyone died • Not reasonable • Not fair • Was not thought out clearly • Jumped into conclusions • All sides must be viewed before conclusion • BAD ACTIONS = BAD CONSEQENCES

Current issue #1: China executes first Japanese citizen in almost 40 years • BEIJING-China executed a Japanese man for drug smuggling • The Supreme People’s Court: Mitsunobu Akano was executed after being convicted of trying to smuggle drugs from China • Mizuho Fukushima, leader of the left-leaning Social Democratic Party, : “I am extremely shocked. Of course, drug crimes are serious, but in Japan people don’t get the death penalty for those.”

Continue: • Akano was convicted in 2008 of attempting to smuggle 2.5 kilograms (4.8 pounds) of drugs from China to Japan in 2006. • Kyodo said the three other Japanese on death row could be executed within the next several days. • China executes more people every year than any other country for a range of crimes, including financial offences.
