  4. PHASES OF EXAMS • There are subject related three Phases of Exams i.e.: • ARABIC • PHARMACOLOGY • LAW • One must pass the Arabic exam before applying for next exam phase.

ARABIC: • To appear in Arabic Exam proper procedure is defined on the site. • As the exam questionnaire is based upon the medical terms commonly used in routine life, one can get assistance from the Product Information Leaflets. Moreover, printed Syllabus containing Arabic translation into English & vice versa is commonly available with tutors. • The exams’ schedule is given on website.

  6. PHARMACOLOGY Based on MCQ’S. One should have the basic knowledge of Pharmacology i.e. commonly recommended & easy to understand book for study is Lippincott.

  7. LAW Its simple, as the Syllabus is normally available on the website. • Note: To get a job in Dubai one has to appear in the additional exam conducted by Dubai MOH, twice a month or as per information on the website: • http://www.dha.gov.ae/

  8. PHARMACIST LICENSE EXAMINATION IN USA National Association of Boards of Pharmacy conducts the exam for foreign pharmacy graduates www.nabp.net

Phases to get Pharmacist License in USA • FPGEC: Foreign Pharmacy Graduate Examination Committee Certificate • NAPLEX: North American Pharmacist Licensure Examination • MPJE: Multistate Pharmacy Jurisprudence Examination (combines federal- and state-specific questions to test the pharmacy jurisprudence knowledge of prospective pharmacists.)

  11. PHASES TO GET FPGEC • Documents Evaluation by ECE (Educational Credential Evaluators) • FPGEE: The FPGEE is an exam required for FPGEC Certification. • TOEFL IBT: The TOEFL IBT is administered by ETS and is required as part of FPGEC Certification.

STAGES • Pharmacist document evaluation • The pharmacist evaluating examination • The Pharmacist Qualifying Examination, Part I (MCQ) and Part II (OSCE) “objective structured clinical examination” (OSCE), • Language Proficiency Requirements Language Proficiency Tests are not required by the PEBC. However, Provincial Regulatory Authorities do require these tests.
