The Fife Education Service's MCMC Pilot Project (2007-2008) targeted seven pilot schools in regeneration areas to address NEET (Not in Education, Employment, or Training) issues through identification, planning, and follow-up interventions. Key themes included a comprehensive NEET Identification Matrix, engagement with vulnerable groups, and collaboration with parents and agencies. The project emphasized creativity, flexibility, and a systematic follow-up approach, leading to critical evaluations that informed further strategies for enhancing student engagement and reducing disengagement in educational settings.
