  4. Itinerary 8/30 Flight from Seattle to Bangkok, Thailand 8/31 Overnight in Bangkok 9/1 Flight from Bangkok to Paro, visit to National Museum in Paro, overnight in Paro 9/2 Day in Thimphu: visit bank and museums downtown 9/3 Overnight in homestay

  5. 9/4 Hike to Khebeythang Nature Study Sub-Center 9/5-9/10 Instruction at Nature Center 9/11 Hike out from Nature Center; Black-Necked Crane Visitor Center; drive to Thimphu

  6. 9/12 Day in Thimphu: Royal Takin Preserve, Buddha Dordenma statue, Tashichho Dzong, shopping 9/13 Travel to Paro: hike to Tiger’s Nest monastery 9/14 Flight to Bangkok

  7. 9/15 Flight to Seattle 10/3 Grinnell notebook due 10/10 Educational outreach activity due 10/17 Cross cultural statement due 10/24 Final course grade information sent to each student
