HISTORY of KTI 1. 1938-1953: Országos Automobilkísérleti Állomás –National Automobile Experimentation Station 1953-1970: Automobile Transport Research Institute(ATUKI)and Road Research Institute (UKI) 1971-1981: KÖTUKI – Road Transport Research Institute 1982-1990: KTI – Institute for Transport Sciences 1991-2004: KTI Ltd. – as a joint stock company 2004-2007: KTI Kht. – as a non-profit company 2008-: KTI Non-profit Ltd.
