  6. Indicators • Students can respond the expressions that are contended in the short functional text accurately, fluently, and acceptable. • Students are able to complete the missing words in the sentences using correctly • The students are able to pronounce new words appropriately.

  8. GREETING CARD DEFINITION Greeting cardis usually used to congratulate someone’s achievement or to express a compliment. It has no specific generic structure but it uses certain expressions that are usually used to congratulate. The expression itself is the way to show the purpose of greeting card.

  9. GREETING CARD Greeting card shows different purposes based on the occasions held, such as to congratulate lebaran day, Christmas day, new year’s celebration, valentine’s day, wedding celebration, etc. It also can be used in personal purpose, for example to congratulate someone’s birthday or someone’s achievement.

  10. GREETING CARD Congratulation is an expression that we use to give the congratulation utterance when he/she succeeds in doing something. Compliment is an expression that we show or say to express/give praise. Some people use compliments to “butter up” somebody or to flatter in order to increase good will.
