The structure of greeting cards • A greeting card includes five parts: solution, title, body, ending, signature. • Solution is how the sender calls the receiver. • Such as “To…” or “Dear/My dear…” • (2) Title is the main purpose of writing a greeting • card. People always write it with big • markedness words. And title is the theme of • information that the greeting cards convey.

  25. (3) The body is the subject part of the greeting card. Since the greeting card is generally short, one or two sentences is enough. (4) Ending is formed by some compliment words written by the writer. Ending commonly used is as follows: Best wishes. With best wishes. All the best/All our love/Love.

  26. (5) Signature is to form the receiver who writes the greeting card. This section must be not omitted, otherwise people don’t know whom the greeting is from .

They all put the time at the beginning of the note so that they know when the message was written. At the end of the day, Mr. Brown takes off the old notes.
