Why is it important to increase the turnout? • Gives you a powerful mandate • Legitimatise UKYP as the voice of young people • Evidence, evidence, evidence- of you consulting local young people • You can be the first group to give 1 million young people a voice
2014 1.6 million ballots were printed • 600 to every MYP/DMYP • 4000 to each LA (apart from IoS) • NI 40,000 • Scotland 1,000 to each LA • Wales 20,000 2015- printing 2 million. Working out now until summer- when based on the number of schools signed up and the potential of each LA
