History VOA building in Missouri • Was Found in New York City in 1896. • In 1915 the first Industrial House was built to supply food, clothing, and furniture for the poor. • 1976 a foster program opened. • In 2001 open two homes in Milaca that helped adults that were facing developmental disabilities.

  4. Accomplishments • Helped out with Hurricane Katrina. Creating 1,000 units of housing. • Created a family shelter that provided a safe shelter, hot food for 11 families until they got back on their feet.
