  2. The survey • Conducted February 7 – 10, 2012 • VALS public library listserv • 95 of 150 libraries who routinely use VALS responded • Survey posted at http://bit.ly/wSx6h6 • Designed and compiled at Google Docs

  3. Does the library have one or more eReaders? Most Vermont libraries are not using eReaders yet. Kindles or a mix of devices (including Kindles) are the most popular responses of libraries using eReaders.

  4. How are libraries with eReaders using them? • Libraries with eReaders are circulating them, for the most part; four libraries only offer eReaders for use in house. Eight libraries haven’t decided yet how to use eReaders.

  5. Where are libraries finding the eBooks they offer? • ListenUp Vermont is the big provider. ListenUp Vermont is available by subscription via membership in the Green Mountain Library Consortium.
