Capacity building and Training . • Capacity Building and Training is conducted for different categories of persons involved in the Mid Day Meal Programme by SSA functionaries, DIETs functionaries, etc. • Module on Mid Day Meal Programme has been added in the training for CRC Coordinators. • DIETs have also conducted training of community leaders on Mid Day Meals.

  22. Best Practices Follwed by State • Schools has maintained the records of the scheme in , formats like Stock Register, Attendance Register, Cash Book Register, School Monthly formats which have been compiled in booklet form and distributed to the schools.

  23. Grievance Redressal Mechanism • All Deputy Commissioners and the Sub-Divisional Officers (Civil) are instructed to install the Toll Free Telephone Number in their Offices for receiving complaints and feed-backs concerning Mid Day Meal Scheme. Ministry of HRD, Govt. of India

  28. Proposal for Cook-cum-helper engaged in MDM Scheme The proposal for engagement of 6436 cook cum helper is in addition to 10,818 CCH, which are already engaged. The existing PAB approval of 17,254 CCH is sufficient for this proposal. Ministry of HRD, Govt. of India
