What is the Annual Fund? • The inaugural year of an annual appeal for operational support of Woods Charter School • Helps to fulfill the vision of Woods Charter School as a place to grow and learn • Bridges the gap between per-pupil public funding and the true cost of a Woods education • Offers a tax-deductible means for parents, grandparents, alumni and friends to support the teachers and programs of our school

  4. A Quality Education • Educating students to become lifelong learners • Focusing on academic excellence and community citizenship • Fostering respect and opportunity for every individual

What if Woods had.... • Additional resources for faculty to expand our curriculum • More electives and enrichment programs to match student interests • Opportunities to take learning outside the walls of the school • Additional portable computing devices and projection units in classrooms • A stable income stream to mitigate the fluctuations of state funding

How can you participate? • Our inaugural year goal is 100% participation from Woods families • We hope to raise $200,000 during this inaugural Annual Fund Campaign • Carefully consider the amount of your stretch gift • Donate online or use an automated monthly pledge • Determine if your employer matches gifts • Alternative donating organizations (State Employees Combined Campaign, United Way, etc.)
