Net`work [net wurk]: (Noun) System of people or things: a large and widely distributed group of people or things such as stores, colleges, or churches that communicate with one another and work together as a unit or system Broadcasting affiliates: broadcasting a group of radio or television station affiliates with a core of programs that they all broadcast at the same time, with local or regional variations at other times
