Virtual Study Course for the US Customs Broker License Exam

From August until early October, Trade Compliance Consulting will be hosting its next Virtual Study Course for the US Customs Broker License Exam. Over the course of eight weeks, the class will consist of 30 hours of virtual training on all of the exam's highly examined areas. Classes will be held on the following schedule on 8 Saturdays from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. EST: For the Mini Boot Camp, students will take an actual test during the previous week and we will discuss in the last class any questions that you had difficulties with on that test.

  2. From August until early October, Trade Compliance Consulting will be hosting its next Virtual Study Course for the US Customs Broker License Exam. Over the course of eight weeks, the class will consist of 30 hours of virtual training on all of the exam's highly examined areas. Classes will be held on the following schedule on 8 Saturdays from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. EST:

  3. For the Mini Boot Camp, students will take an actual test during the previous week and we will discuss in the last class any questions that you had difficulties with on that test. Homework preparation for each class is to read the online lessons for those topics. In the online lessons, you will see citations to regulations. Please also read those regulations which are also available online. To see a list of links to online reference material, please visit the References page on the site. After each class, your after class homework for that class will include revising the lessons and taking several online quizzes on that topic to test your mastery of that topic.

  4. You can bring printed reference materials to the exam because it is an open book exam. CBP also provides online reference resources, however some examinees have reported having difficulty accessing them during the test. I recommend acquiring and practising with printed versions of the United States Harmonized Tariff Schedule and Section 19 of the Code of Federal Regulations, Customs Duties.
