  2. Who is a Customs broker? “Customs broker” means a person who is licensed under the relevant code of federal regulations to transact customs business on behalf of others.

  3. To rapidly locate key topics from your printed reference material, tab all reference material using short topic titles. Material is frequently dispersed under several regulations, therefore good tabbing will aid you in swiftly locating essential information to correctly answer questions. It's all about practise, practise, practise. You will get more comfortable with the topic as you practise and use the reference material to answer quiz and exam questions, and you will also have a better notion of where to go for essential information to answer each question.

  4. Try to get through the test as quickly as possible and answer all of the questions. Don't spend too much time on any one question because each one is worth the same amount of points, and there may be easy questions later in the test that you won't be able to answer if you spend too much time on the difficult ones first. In two or three attempts, answer the test questions. Answer all of the easy and somewhat difficult questions you come across in your first pass. Spend as little time as possible on any difficult question. This way, you'll be able to answer all of the test's easy and moderately difficult questions, increasing your chances of getting the answer right and earning points.

  5. Allow 3 minutes on average to answer each question, with 30 minutes set aside at the end to go over your answers and handle any difficult questions you missed on your first or second attempts. It's always a good idea to check over your answers at the end so you can notice and correct any mistakes and score extra points.
