A"customs broker" is a person who is licenced to conduct customs business on behalf of others under the appropriate code of federal rules. The term "customs business" refers to transactions with CBP that involve merchandise entry and admissibility, classification and valuation, payment of duties, taxes, or other charges assessed or collected by CBP on merchandise as a result of its importation, and refund, rebate, or drawback of those duties, taxes, or other charges.
