Who we Are - Dianova International Dianova International is an NGO that coordinates a network of organizations operating in 18 countries and 4 continents to help vulnerable populations, and promotes social progress in international organizations and forums addressing social policies. Dianova International contributes to the Sustainable Development Goals established by the United Nations.

Mission, Vision & Values Vision- Dianova’s purpose is based on the conviction that, with appropriate support, each person will be able to find within him/herself the resources necessary to achieve success in his/her personal development and social integration Mission- Developing initiatives and programmes with the objective of promoting personal self-reliance and social progress Values - Our ethical framework is grounded in the following values: commitment, solidarity, tolerance and internationality.

Strategic Vision 2020 • Dianova is an international third sector network maintaining strategic alliances that contribute to a more just and equitable social development. • Dianova is a proactive social agent which develops innovative actions, promoting organizational resilience as a deciding factor for development. • Dianova develops diversified projects based on mutual trust with the public and/or private sectors through it being a financially self-sustaining organization. • Dianova is a reference for the organized civil society through its interventions and advocacy actions with direct impact on public policies.

Strategic Guidelines • Diversification: We develop projects through strategic alliances which guarantee our autonomy and sustainability. • Internationality: Our purpose is to be citizens of the world, acting as international ambassadors of community networking. • Proactivity: We take responsibility for making things happen. • Adaptability: We provide effective responses to the challenges of a changing environment, thus strengthening internal cohesion and organizational development.

Areas of Activity • Institutional Relations & Advocacy – Creating partnerships to help raise the voice of civil society and promote: • Addiction  Public health-based treatment approaches • Implementation of inclusive, diversified health services, tailored to each people’s needs • Women’s empowerment and gender equality • Development of action plans that promote social inclusion and reduce the stigmatization of the most vulnerable populations

Areas of Activity • Support to the Dianova Network - Promoting a culture of institutional development based on the exchange of knowledge • Public relations activities that aim to publicize the work of the Dianova Network • The exchange of knowledge, skills and experiences among its members • Training and technical support services for its members • Consulting services in strategic and operational areas

Areas of Activity • Mobilization of Resources - Highlighting the values shared by the public and private sectors to help create alliances that foster long-term sustainability • Requests for financial support from the public and private sectors • Development of joint campaigns with private sector organizations • Design of projects that contribute to the development of the Dianova member organizations • Creation of partnerships in different interest areas as part of the SDGs • Participation in committees and NGO platforms promoting private-third sector alliances

The Dianova Network The Dianova Network is the name given to the set of Dianova International member associations and foundations The members of the Dianova network are committed to developing initiatives and programmes dedicated to the development of individuals, communities and organizations in 18 countries, and pay special attention to the most vulnerable populations.

The Dianova Network’s Intervention Areas • The action of the members of the Dianova network fits in with the sustainable development objectives in three key interrelated areas: • Education and training • Physical and mental health and addiction prevention and treatment • Social and humanitarian action  Transverse axis: gender equality, alliances and cooperation

  14. Operating Principles • The Dianova network is fuelled by the interactions between its coordinating entity, Dianova International, and its members. Cooperation between the network’s ordinary members of the Dianova network is supported by the Lisbon Convention • Dianova ordinary members are subject to common governance and management practices grounded on: • A clearly defined organizational structure and decision-making processes • Practices developed in accordance with the values ​​of Dianova and using proven and effective methods • A balance between objectives and results
