  2. CrossFit Gold Coast is a growing fitness phenomenon in Australia. CrossFit is an exercising regimen that was first developed in 2000 and is used at over 6,000 gyms around the world. It was started by Greg Glassman and focuses on a wide range of exercises to condition members for almost any physical exercise that they may face in their daily lives. This type of exercise is much different than what is taught at the majority of gyms across the country. There are several benefits to a CrossFit workout as opposed to a more traditional fitness plan. • CrossfitEngym Room

  3. Varied Exercises When people tend to go to the gym, they often do the exact same exercises each time. They likely spend a few minutes doing bench press, a few minutes with dumbbells and possibly a few minutes on the treadmill or elliptical machine. While this is helpful on some level, your body can quickly become desensitized to this type of workout. CrossFit Gold Coast combats this by constantly varying your workouts. At an Australian CrossFit location you will workout based on a constantly changing workout posted online or a workout laid out by your local coach.   5. Short Workouts When you go to CrossFit Gold Coast, do not expect to have to spend hours at the gym. CrossFit focuses on short workouts, often no longer than 30 minutes. These workouts are indeed short, but they are quite intense. These exercises focus on a constant physical exertion to burn significant calories and build muscle in a short amount of time.   6. Strong Community One of CrossFit Gold Coast's most important aspects is the strong community. This community offers a great support system for athletes just starting out in the program. This creates a type of community which helps some athletes who sometimes need an extra push to make it to the next level. These workouts focus on times and other measures to create competition and camaraderie among the community. During workouts others are often “coaching” or pushing their peers to do better and improve their times or reps on certain exercises.
